Chinese New Year
Well, this will be our first post on this Blog for us! And as expected it did not turn out the way I wanted. I originally had written a few paragraphs regarding this weekend's activities, but now that it's been deleted...screw it!!!! On with today!
Tonight W4 (for lack of a good nickname for now!) and we had some friends over from ECAC for and unofficial Chinese new Year dinner. We had roast, salmon, scallop potatoes, chicken, lasagna, salad, and the end it off, we had our first chocolate fondue at our place....MMMMMmmmmm...GOOD!!! It was nice to see some of the people that we don;t see on a regular basis and to just keep in touch and hang out! A very nice evening but also a very LOUD evening! You see most of them have small children and when they get together and play...A TON O' SCREAMING AND YELLING!!! Hmm maybe we should get our basement developed soon (with very good sound barriers! so we can get them all down there and not hear them! As for the basement, stay tuned...
Well, here's to my first posting...oh and speaking of toast, I received a bottle of wine from my friend who got married 2.5 years ago and we finally opened it tonight. It was black cherry wine and was it ever good...not much alcohol content, but great fruity taste! we'd let you try some another day, but it's all gone!

Wow, it sure would of been nice if "Wackie" told me that he started a Blog instead of me finding out through the Loop!
Thanks a whole lot!
