Chicken!
Kona is official a chicken! Not that we didn't know that before...I took him to Laurier Park and went to the water's edge. He was soooo scared to go in the water that he would touch it and take a few sips of dirty water then run away. Duncan (the other dog) was so good at jumping in and retrieving balls and sticks!
Hopefully after a few more attempts he may become more comfortable. Maybe it his first experience that turned him off when he was a puppy? When he was few few months old we took him to Terwilligar and he was watching some of the bigger dogs jump in the water. He went in after them and submerged under the water (head under water). He then ran out and never went back in...hmmm...traumatized?

Poor Kona, already traumatized at such a tender age...and thinking he could just walk into the water and float.
Do they make lifejackets for dogs??
